We won 3rd place at Sandwhich Boards- Homecoming 2008

Posted by: Sigma Gamma on: November 7, 2008

To our lovely surprise we won 3rd place at Sandwhich boards at this year’s homecoming:)  Next year, watch out for 1st place!!  Check out the pics of our sandwhich board below. The theme had had to go along with Towson’s Homecoming theme this year, “There’s No Place like TU.” So we twisted it and brought in a little of the “Wizard of Oz” and added in tigers, purple panthers and pink roses.

Shout out to my Line Sister, Sarah, for coming out and leading us to 3rd place victory with her creative inspiration.

Congrats to the Foundling Line at Dickinson College!

Posted by: Sigma Gamma on: November 7, 2008

It’s a hard road to the Gamma land and as a founder I absolutely love other founders. To explain more, founders are women in our organization who build chapters at schools that don’t currently have an established chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma. I am a founder of the Sigma Gamma Chapter at Towson University and know how much blood, sweat and tears it takes to build a long-standing chapter.

This post is dedicated to the woman of the foundling line at Dickinson College who just crossed this semester, Fall 2008! Your journey has just began! Be strong and smart and remember that nothing worth having is easily attainable! With out founders this organization would not have grown so fast and strong as it has since its founding in 1990. Thank you for carrying on the passion and vision of our prestigious organization.

Gamma Nalia that I love!

Posted by: Sigma Gamma on: October 28, 2008

I thought I’d start a post about Gamma paraphernalia that I absolutely heart! 4 hearts is the highest rating! Greek paraphernalia consists of crossing jackets, shirts, afghans, etc. Basically anything that has the organization’s Greek letters on it.

Hope you enjoy the pics and don’t forget to leave your comments!

Check out these sites for more Gamma apparel and nalia!

Gammas all over the nation love to stroll!

Posted by: Sigma Gamma on: October 20, 2008

For your viewing pleasure I found some videos online of Gammas from all over the nation strolling. I also found this definition of strolling :

Strolling (verb) – An energetic, synchronized dance made popular by Black and Latino Greek organizations.
